Enchanted by the world of cooking from very early on, Alain Longeval is a qualified cook and pastry chef who studied in prestigious vocational schools. People noticed him at the restaurant on the Eiffel Tower, then at Lenôtre, as well as the Armes de Bretagne before he took over the Gay Lussac restaurant, an excellent address in Saint Léonard de Noblat, where Raymond Poulidor calls home.

He is now ‘Master Cook’: a label that guarantees that the restaurant’s team is made up of professionals and that at least 93% of the dishes are made with fresh products that they process themselves or have processed in a traditional manner by an SME (such as the RITOU deli butchers).
