Born in Nice in 1973, Vincent belongs to the generation of chefs brought up in the midst of “Fooding”, a movement which aims to give meaning to one’s life, and not just to one’s passion... a daily effort with many obstacles... Pure tradition is not disregarded, it is part of the concept of the inventive, but well-reasoned chef.
Vincent Lucas is the tireless chef at the stoves of Étincelles, the restaurant he created with his wife in Sainte-Sabine Born, in Dordogne. This young Michelin-starred chef is in a class of his own, he likes to surprise us with unexpected surf and turf or sweet and savoury mixes. In 2014, he gave himself a new challenge, with Le Repaire de Savinien “nouvelle ère”, in Bergerac, where he proposes a refined, inventive bistro-style of cooking.
