A cheese and an exceptional woman
By Sonia Moumen
An unbelievable little woman full of chatty energy, Laure Fourgeaud left her native Savoie and her job as an interior designer to live in the Dordogne. There she found her farmer husband online along with some cattle. And as the cows were not really her thing, she decided to try with goats and… cheese. ‘A cheese should look good, it should be appetising’ says this forceful woman who has taken curing to such a level that she quickly became known, particularly in terms of quality as an Artisan Quality Producer by the Culinary College of France.
