When to find it? All year round

Made from appellation d’origine contrôlée (A.O.C) wine, Bordeaux wine vinegar is a luxury vinegar product. Like many wine areas, Bordeaux used to have several vinegar production sites. Now only a few châteaux still sell this product and the industry is carried on by vinegar manufacturers. In the 18th century, vinegar was even used as an antiseptic and a cleaning product.
