Located on the left bank of the Garonne, between Agen and Castelijaloux, the Buzet appellation covers an area including twenty-seven municipalities. Previously referred to as ‘Vin de Haut-Pays’, these wines have a significant past that dates back to the Romans. Committed to sustainable development for many years, the Vignerons de Buzet cooperative winery accounts for 94% of the appellation with 198 member winegrowers across 1,870 hectares and offers a wide selection of red, rosé and white wines.
Red wines are wonderfully supple with a lovely cherry red colour and refined bouquet of ripe red fruit. Rosé wines are fresh, fruity but with no acidity. White wines are delicately perfumed, lively yet balanced with a welcoming freshness.
