Cabécou means small round cheeses made from whole goat’s milk. Since 1992, Cabécou de Périgord has been protected by a collective brand and logo. Farm or cheese dairy production must imperatively meet specifications for breeding and processing.
A versatile and popular cheese. Enjoy on its own, as an aperitif or served topped with Périgord candied walnuts, honey or maple syrup. Alternatively serve hot either as a starter or main course, accompanied with a salad. It naturally has a place on the cheese board, served at the end of a meal.
