When to find it? All year round

Fouée is a culinary tradition from the north of Poitou. It is a small round loaf baked and then stuffed with rillettes or Charentes-Poitou butter while it is still warm. Historically, bakers made fouées early in the morning so that workers could buy them and then spread with whatever they want.
