Honey from Bruyère in Limousin

This honey comes only from bees foraging heather callune nectar which is found on the Millevaches plateau in Limousin.

Heather honey has a wonderfully dark amber colour. This is a sticky honey, naturally occurring in a gelatinous yet creamy texture. A full flavour, delicately

tangy, with a bitter hint on the palate. It is wonderfully perfumed with powerful floral aromas.

Bee-keepers from the Millevaches Regional Natural Park in Limousin have joined forces to produce specifications that guarantee the authenticity of honey from the Limousin mountains.
