At market stalls, butcher’s and through direct sales.
In 2008, professionals wished to increase the value of their production scheme: producing, processing and directly selling their product.
This is how the ‘Poitou-Charentes Endorsed Farmer’ came to be. A common base for farm products was established to ensure that farming was carried out with sustainable agriculture in mind. 2 particular specifications were agreed upon: Raw milk goat’s cheese and Lean and fatty poultry.
It is guaranteed that the producer has control over all links in the chain, from farming poultry to selling it. Feeding must be done using non-GMO (rate of modified DNA ≤ 0.9%) raw materials which are exclusively of plant origin, dairy products and minerals. free-range poultry is slaughtered at the farm and can be sold whole, carved or preserved (or semi-preserved). The processed products do not contain any additives or artificial flavours.
