Dating back to 1905, this tender, melt in the mouth chocolate toffee apparently owes its name to Biarritz’s global society, especially Russian VIPs who were the main source of inspiration. Jacques Damnestoy, then a chocolate maker, decided to give his sweet this exotic name.
